About
Emma Feeney is an accomplished marketing and communications professional based in Boston, MA, currently serving as the Digital Media Manager for the Mayor's Office of Economic Opportunity and Inclusion in the City of Boston.
In this role, Emma drives the digital strategy to expand the Cabinet’s digital media presence through managing all Cabinet social media accounts and the quality and user experience of the Cabinet’s website pages. She additionally produces diverse digital content across social media, email campaigns, newsletters, websites, and event materials to further promote initiatives, programs and events led by different City departments within the Cabinet.
Emma holds a Master of Arts in Communication and a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations from Suffolk University, where she earned honors such as Dean's List and GNAC All-Academic Honors and played for Suffolk's Women's Volleyball team throughout her undergraduate studies.
Her past roles, including as Marketing & Communications Specialist at INTO Suffolk University and Marketing & Events Coordinator at the Esplanade Association, demonstrate her ability to create effective marketing strategies, manage social media growth, and enhance engagement. Emma’s skills in Adobe Creative Suite, social media management, and cross-functional collaboration support her contributions across different sectors, with a goal of promoting economic equity, talent development, and community engagement in Boston.
When I am not working, I am invested in the latest film, tv, music, and pop culture news and stories, creating content for my Boston-themed Instagram account (@bostonvibes.jpg) and planning what concert I am going to next. I also love taking my camera out on walks across Boston and any place I travel to.
